Help Us Give Culinary Students a Place to Call Home
You can help us furnish our newly-built student housing, so we can start using it as soon as possible. Our culinary students are ready to learn, ready to start new lives. If we can give them a temporary home, we can fully support them on their journey.
Overview
The Napa Valley Culinary Training Academy is a vital program that welcomes people who have struggled with homelessness and substance abuse, and gives them a unique opportunity. Through this program, they are able to develop kitchen skills to support meaningful employment in local hospitality industries while instilling professionalism, confidence and dignity.
By giving them a safe, sober place to live while they work on their training, we help ensure that our students will become self-sufficient for years to come. Scroll down for photos of the project!
How You Can Help
As the building of the three-bedroom modular home is completed, it is now time to furnish it. We need the support of our community to properly furnish each room and complete the project for our students!
There are two ways you can help us achieve our goal:
Purchase Needed Items
Visit our Amazon Wish List, and choose any items you would like to purchase for the project. Items will automatically be sent to us.
Make a Donation
Make a tax-deductible credit card donation to The Salvation Army of Napa that will enable us to purchase the items we need.
